🌱 How Plants Are Made
Terrariums are miniature ecosystems created inside glass containers. To build one, layers are carefully added to balance drainage, soil, and plants:
1. Base Layer – Small pebbles or stones for drainage.
2. Charcoal Layer – Helps filter water and keep the terrarium fresh.
3. Soil Layer – Provides nutrients for plants and moss.
4. Plants & Moss – Arranged to create a natural landscape.
5. Decor & Details – Stones, wood, or miniature trees for design.
The glass walls create a controlled environment that helps plants thrive with very little maintenance.
Care Guide
Each of our creations is designed to be low-maintenance, but a little care helps them thrive:
• Terrariums: Place in bright, indirect sunlight. Mist lightly every 1–2 weeks and avoid overwatering. If open, air flows naturally; if closed, open occasionally for fresh air. Wipe the glass if condensation or dust appears.
• Mossariums: Moss prefers low to medium light and higher humidity. Mist 2–3 times per week to keep it lush and green. Keep mostly covered to lock in moisture but open briefly for fresh air. Clean glass gently if algae or excess condensation forms
• Paludariums: These combine land and water, so balance is key. Provide bright, indirect light, keep water clean, and mist plants regularly. Ensure some air circulation to avoid mold, and trim plants or clean glass as needed to maintain a healthy mini-ecosystem.
🌿 Terrariums
A terrarium is a miniature garden enclosed in glass, designed to replicate natural landscapes on a small scale. These living decorations combine soil, plants, stones, and moss to create a self-sustaining ecosystem. Terrariums are versatile and come in two main types: open terrariums, ideal for succulents and cacti that enjoy airflow, and closed terrariums, which create a humid environment perfect for ferns and tropical plants. They are loved for being both beautiful and low-maintenance, making them an excellent way to bring greenery indoors without the need for a full garden.
🌱 Mossariums
A mossarium is a special type of terrarium focused entirely on moss. Instead of mixing many different plants, mossariums highlight the soft, lush textures and vibrant green tones of different moss species. Moss thrives in shaded, humid environments, making mossariums particularly low-maintenance — they require minimal watering and no direct sunlight. Their calming, forest-like aesthetic makes them a popular choice for people who enjoy simple, elegant greenery that feels timeless and soothing.
💧 Paludariums
A paludarium is a unique blend of an aquarium and a terrarium, combining both land and water elements. They are designed to mimic tropical riverbanks, wetlands, or rainforests, often featuring aquatic plants, moss, rocks, and sometimes even fish or amphibians. Paludariums are more dynamic than terrariums or mossariums because they recreate the interaction between water and land within one container. They require slightly more care but offer a stunning, living display that feels like a piece of nature’s wilderness captured indoors.
